A regional CPA firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to work during tax season
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file individual, business, and trust tax returns adhering to all applicable regulations.
• Utilize QuickBooks and CCH ProSystem to manage tax-related tasks effectively.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with IRS requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documentation and address tax-related inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation of tax projections and planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance.
• Ensure all documentation is organized and securely filed for future reference.
• Support the team by providing insights and recommendations for improving tax preparation processes.
• Manage client accounts with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols, including vaccination requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preparing taxes in CPA firm. CCH Prosystems is highly desirable.
