We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Steel Welder to join our team. In this role, you will work with heavy-grade structural steel, utilizing flux core dual shield welding techniques and thick 3/32 wire. Work under a large awning that covers the shop floor in a standard welding shop environment. The area is open, dirty, dusty, and loud, typical of a steel fabrication shop. While shade is provided, the shop is not climate-controlled and can get hot. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 5 PM to 3:30 AM, averaging 55 to 58 hours a week. The team is consistently bidding on projects with over 100,000 man-hours and aims to reach 6 's once they start the new project.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PEORIA, AZ.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
