Job Description

DFINITY is looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to join distinguished team that's building an AI-driven no-code application development platform for ICP. One of the first problems you’ll solve is designing the project lifecycle user experience.

This is a hybrid-onsite position (onsite 3x per week), based out of our new office in the heart of San Francisco.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Research industry solutions to similar problems, and use prototyping and user testing to simplify ideas and ensure clarity for end users.
• Design systems for a broad range of target devices/browsers.
• Design new features for our AI driven development platform.
• Work with the global branding team to build a strong brand identity for our AI driven development platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design or product design.
• Interest about Web3 and Blockchain technology.
• Understanding the fundamentals of web technology for website development, such as HTML/CSS (no coding skills needed).
• Must include a portfolio, website, or other relevant links to your work in your application, providing viewable links and/or access instructions.
• Strong background in UI design and/or graphic design.
• You live and breathe design, impactful on-brand design aesthetics, with intuitive UX.
• Worked with, maintained and set up design systems in Figma.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a UX Lead role.
• Experience in leading design projects in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a multi-disciplinary team setting, exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Lead/participate in workshops to improve workflows and experience of websites.
• Experience in designing AI driven web applications.
• You have shipped web applications for B2B and B2C - preferably both web and native.
• Strong background in UI design on product, preferably technical products/HMI design.

Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $225,000/yr

This position can be considered across multiple levels. Total compensation at DFINITY consists of base salary + generous bonus and is determined based on multiple factors including job leveling, areas of expertise, educational background, geographic location and overall experience.
