Job Description
We are currently seeking a Pipefitter/Welder for a local client with a project in the Brenham, TX area for Immediate Start!
You will be responsible for setting up welding equipment and performing high-quality welds using various methods, including arc, submerged arc, gas-shielded arc, MIG, and TIG processes. In addition to welding, this role handles the layout, assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing and piping systems in accordance with project specifications, trade standards, and applicable building codes.
Systems may include pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubrication, sprinklers, and industrial processing. You will ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Required certification in 6G Pipe welding with expertise in welding materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (Level II).
Preferably, 4+ years of experience as a Pipefitter/Welder.
OSHA certification (or willing to get before starting)
Trained and qualified to operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, fork lifts, etc.
