Operations Specialist Entry-Level, Trade Support

A prestigious firm in Salt Lake City is hiring an Operations Specialist Entry-Level, Trade Support to join their growing team. At the analyst level, you'll support the trade lifecycle, ensure accurate settlements, and maintain operational controls across various asset types. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build a foundation in middle-office operations within a leading global financial institution. As an Operations Analyst, you'll collaborate with trading, sales, and risk teams to process and control trade activity. You'll contribute to process improvements, mitigate operational risk, and help drive efficiency across the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by collaborating with internal teams and external counterparties
• Ensure accurate and timely trade settlement and confirmation across multiple asset types
• Review and reconcile transactions to resolve discrepancies and prevent breaks
• Identify and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate operational risk
• Support daily controls, reporting, and process documentation initiatives
• Uphold the firm's tradition of excellence by maintaining precision and accountability in all operational processes

What You Bring To The Role:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Internship or professional experience in trade operations, settlements, reconciliations, or financial services preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across different teams and levels of experience
• Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
