We are seeking skilled flux-core welders to join our team in fabricating heavy-duty equipment from start to finish. This role involves welding mild steel ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick, contributing to the production of excavators used in construction. Welders will be responsible for welding and fabricating industrial buckets, similar to those on a Caterpillar backhoe, with multiple passes required. This position is not a production welding role, as it involves completing the welding of buckets from start to finish.
Fabricate heavy-duty equipment using flux-core welding techniques.
Weld mild steel from 1/4" to 3" thick.
Produce excavators used in construction settings.
Perform multiple passes on welds to ensure quality and durability.
Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes.
Handle structural welding and fabrication tasks efficiently.
1+ years of experience in heavy gauge flux-core welding.
Proficiency with.030 &.045 wire.
Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
Own tools and welding helmet.
Steel-toed boots required.
Experience in structural welding and fabrication.
Blueprint reading skills.

This is not a production welding shop; instead, we specialize in custom buckets for large industrial applications, railroad cars, and structural beams, with the process completed from start to finish at specific stations.
This is a contract to hire position based out of Hudson, WI.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
