  • Analyze and mitigate electrical risks, including thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and failure modes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and test reports.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to optimize electrical components for cost, performance, and reliability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, PCB layout, and system integration, preferably in battery technology, power electronics, or renewable energy.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, BMS design, and high-voltage systems (400V+).
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad).
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware development, and communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI, Modbus) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing, debugging, and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and compliance (UL, IEC, ISO).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
