THE ROLE
In the capacity of Project Manager, you will spearhead the planning, design, permitting, and oversight of construction administration for civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and budgets for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities.
- Employing engineering design software to produce plans, drawings, and models that align with project specifications.
- Leading engineering design projects from inception to completion.
- Conducting meetings with client board members and delivering monthly progress updates.
- Overseeing construction progress and providing on-site support and monitoring.
- Managing construction administration duties, including reviewing submittals and RFIs, assessing progress payments, and ensuring compliance.
- Evaluating water/wastewater facilities for adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, and suggesting improvements.
- Interacting with community members, government officials, and stakeholders to communicate project objectives and gather feedback.

YOUR STRENGTHS
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering (or a comparable ABET-accredited program)
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design and construction; experience in water/wastewater projects is preferred
- Experience in managing tasks or projects
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) designation is required
- A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred or must be obtained post-hire
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as Civil 3D
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software
- Familiarity with engineering planning studies
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
