Job Title: CDL Concrete Truck Driver

Direct Hire Opportunity!

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Concrete Truck Driver . The driver will be responsible for operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites in a safe and timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service while interacting with clients on job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a concrete mixer in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Load, transport, and deliver ready-mix concrete to designated job sites.
• Ensure the correct slump (consistency) and quality of concrete is maintained during transit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and mixer.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
• Wash out truck drum and chute after deliveries to prevent concrete buildup.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and any required documentation.
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively on job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Commercial driving experience (concrete or construction industry preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate manual and/or automatic transmissions (depending on fleet).
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or early mornings as required by project schedules.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience driving and operating a ready-mix concrete truck.
• Familiarity with construction site procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
