Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU position in New York requiring a NY RN license and advanced neonatal certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is based in a Level 3 NICU within a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital
• Variable day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend
• Care for critically ill neonates in a specialized NICU environment
• Cerner EMR is used; Cerner competence is preferred
• Provide critical care and monitoring to a neonatal patient population, including advanced neonatal procedures
• Team-based care with support in a teaching hospital environment
• Completion of required online learning modules prior to the start date is mandatory
• Local candidates are eligible with a reduced rate if living within 60 miles
• Candidates with prior employment at the health system may require an eligibility review process

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Level 3 NICU experience
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Two recent professional references from a manager or higher in the specialty required
