\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on 6 West Neurosciences unit on the 6th floor of A Tower
\n• 36-bed unit with approximately 40 staff members
\n• Patient ratios: 5:1 or 6:1 stretch on day shift, 7:1 stretch on night shift
\n• Day shift staffing: 1 Charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
\n• Night shift staffing: 1 Charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
\n• Work every other weekend
\n• Float to other med surge floors as needed
\n• Work with standard medical surgical equipment
\n• Use Cerner EMR system
\n• Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH
\n• Neuroscience experience preferred
\n• Outgoing and self-motivated personality preferred
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• New staff reference book provided at start of contract
