\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in a 54-bed medical-surgical unit with 11 beds on a dedicated ortho/spine unit
\n• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 for RNs, with RN/LPN teams managing 10 patients total
\n• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience required
\n• At least one weekend within 4-week period required (may be split up)
\n• Blocked scheduling available on case-by-case basis
\n• Floating within unit at discretion
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (optional), active RN license
\n• Required uniform: Grey scrubs
\n• Work with Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, continuous pulse ox, specialty beds, wound vacs, chest tubes, NG and feeding tubes
\n• Documentation system: Meditech
\n• Care for medical-surgical patients, orthopedic and spine patients, trauma patients, and psych medical hold patients
\n• Perform general medical/surgical procedures including post-catheterizations, lap appy/chole, thoracentesis/paracentesis
\n• Manage stable traumas, HD/peritoneal dialysis, CBI procedures
\n• Unit staffing includes unit secretaries until 8pm weekdays, techs and externs availability
\n• Opportunities for overtime and incentives as appropriate
