Job Description

1. Oversee and manage daily transport operations , including scheduling and routing of vehicles.
2. Supervise drivers and transport staff , ensuring discipline and timely attendance.
3. Maintain vehicle logbooks , trip records, and fuel consumption reports .
4. Coordinate dispatch and delivery schedules as per operational needs.
5. Ensure vehicle maintenance , servicing, insurance renewals, and fitness certifications.
6. Handle permits, licenses , and ensure compliance with RTO and transport laws .
7. Optimize route planning to reduce fuel costs and improve efficiency.
8. Monitor GPS tracking systems for vehicle movement and performance.
9. Ensure timely reporting of accidents, repairs, and vehicle downtime.
10. Liaise with vendors, transport contractors, and government authorities when needed.
11. Prepare and submit MIS and expense reports to management.
12. Maintain safety standards and ensure proper documentation for all transport activities.
