13478 - Tester (PeopleSoft) (remote) – Tallahassee, FL Start Date : ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: This position allows for remote work locations but will require the QA Resource(s) to be onsite for planned events. Flexible schedules may be considered but must be approved by the Department’s Project Director
Required: • Experience implementing and/or testing in one or more of the following: Financials, HCM, OAC and OBIA;
• Experience performing QA activities directly related to validating ERP implementation;
• Experience performing QA testing and reporting;
• Experience with automated testing tools such as PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), TestGrid, Tosca;
• Experience analyzing systems requirements to identify QA needs;
• Experience developing unit test cases and test plans as well as requirements tracking and reporting results;
• Experience communicating with multiple levels, from leadership (e.g., CIO), to technical and functional staff;
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio;
• Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.
Preferred: • Experience performing activities directly related to QA Experience working with the State or with other large government entity;
• Experience QA Testing Financials, HCM, and OAC;
• Experience with PeopleTools 8.59+ and fluid page development;
• Experience working with functional and technical resources to identify testing scenarios, including expected results;
• Experience developing QA plans;
• Experience with in one or more QA area (Ex: HCM, Financials, DW/OBIA);
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform QA activities, including validation and testing for ERP implementations such as Financials, HCM, or OAC.
• Develop test cases, test plans, and requirements tracking while analyzing system requirements to identify QA needs.
• Utilize automated testing tools like PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), TestGrid, or Tosca for efficient QA processes.
• Conduct QA testing and reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to expected results.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define and validate testing scenarios.
• Leverage tools like Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and Smartsheet for documentation and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from leadership to technical staff.
