Job Description
We are looking for a Tax Preparer to join our team's team during the tax season. In this role, you will focus on preparing accurate and timely individual tax returns, leveraging your knowledge of tax regulations and software expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare individual tax returns in compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize Lacerte tax software to ensure efficient and accurate tax preparation.
• Verify documentation and financial data provided by clients to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in meeting deadlines during peak tax preparation periods.
• Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive client information.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and licensing requirements.
• Experience in preparing individual tax returns independently.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy tax seasons and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• CTEC certification a plus
