Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital features a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons with surgical procedures in the operating room under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, including conveying sterile instruments and supplies for both basic and complex surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program
  • Six (6) months of experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit
  • Current BLS certification
  • CPR certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One (1) year of OR experience
  • CORT or CST Certified OR Tech
