Trax is seeking a Senior React Developer to join our application team. You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js. This is an opportunity to work on impactful aviation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and performance.
• Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve development processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js or other SSR frameworks.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working in a cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience and/or passion for the Aviation industry, a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally preferred.
• Ability to support customers on off hours.
• Ability to participate in on-call schedule to support SLA coverage planning.
