Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Application Development)

Location: Hybrid – Dallas (2 days onsite; 3 days remote)

Travel: Up to 10% travel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Application Development) to lead mission-critical software development initiatives from concept to delivery. In this role, you will guide the planning, execution, and delivery of custom-built applications that support Client’s operations, client experience, and brand mission. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams in a fast-paced Agile environment—leveraging modern tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps to drive progress and quality. This position has the potential to grow into a Product Management role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams (Developers, Architects, QA, BAs) across full project lifecycle, from initiation to release
• Deliver complex, custom software projects that enhance Client’s internal systems and customer-facing platforms
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with accountability for project success
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Track and manage work items, epics, and sprints in Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and dependencies clearly
• Perform business analysis by engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, and ensuring functional alignment with business needs
• Partner with solution architects to ensure scalable, technically sound designs
• Drive risk management, quality assurance, and proactive issue resolution throughout delivery
• Stay current on industry and technology trends that support innovation in manufacturing, digital services, and operational efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on software/application development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field
• Strong background managing projects in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking, sprint planning, and reporting
• Background in consulting or vendor-side project delivery
• Proven success delivering complex, multi-phase projects through the entire SDLC
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing project budgets exceeding $1M
• Solid understanding of both technical delivery and business alignment

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience in product-based or manufacturing industries
• PMP certification or similar professional project management credential
• Hands-on experience in development, coding, or solution architecture
• Experience with Jira
