Role Summary

We are hiring a  Solutions Consultant who will translate customer pain points into high‑impact use cases for both sell‑side and buy‑side institutions, accelerate platform adoption, and cultivate long‑term client relationships. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Customer Success, you will craft compelling demos, guide prospects through proof‑of‑concepts, and ensure that every deployment delivers measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document use cases across research, trading, risk, and compliance workflows for investment banks, broker‑dealers, hedge funds, and long‑only managers.
• Partner with Sales to tailor value propositions, build demo environments, and run data‑driven proof‑of‑concepts that shorten the sales cycle.
• Own technical and functional discovery calls, mapping prospect requirements to platform capabilities and identifying any integration gaps.
• Deliver on‑site and virtual demos, workshops, and webinars showcasing best‑practice workflows and economic impact.
• Project‑manage pilot engagements —defining success metrics, configuring data feeds, and guiding users from onboarding through evaluation.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships, acting as trusted advisor post‑sale to drive usage, renewals, and upsells.
• Capture product feedback from the field and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Produce scalable  solution assets (white papers, implementation guides, ROI calculators) that enable GTM teams and channel partners.
• Represent EQL Global at industry conferences and client events; speak on panels or author thought‑leadership pieces when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CFA/FRM a plus.
• 4+ years in a client‑facing pre‑sales, solutions, or customer‑success role within capital‑markets technology, market data, or analytics platforms.
• Deep understanding of sell‑side and buy‑side workflows—including idea generation, portfolio analytics, trade execution, and post‑trade reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with market data APIs (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv), SQL/Python for data wrangling, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proven ability to run sophisticated demos and proof‑of‑concepts that quantify business value.
• Exceptional  communication and presentation skills; able to engage C‑suite executives and hands‑on quants alike.
• Strong project‑management discipline and familiarity with Agile or similar delivery methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % for client meetings and events.
