About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor for Academic Innovation and Learner Success to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner, ensuring the seamless execution of divisional priorities in support of the academic mission. This role is pivotal in aligning initiatives with the company's global operations, innovative learning model, and commitment to student success, particularly for adult and nontraditional learners. Key responsibilities include leading high-impact, university-wide projects, identifying and scaling initiatives to improve learning outcomes, and championing a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making. The Senior Advisor will also represent the Chief Academic Officer on institutional and system-wide task forces and manage project teams related to innovation grants and academic special projects. Applicants for the Senior Advisor position at the company should have a Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) in a relevant discipline, with 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education. The role requires a deep understanding of the needs of adult and nontraditional learners, particularly in online and hybrid environments, and a proven track record in using data and research to drive decision-making and improve student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex academic initiatives. Experience in academic innovation, operational efficiency, and familiarity with emerging trends such as generative AI, modular credentials, and digital transformation in higher education are also preferred.
