School Social Worker

Are you a passionate School Social Worker looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive, vibrant school community? Our partner school is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to join our team ASAP!

About the Role:
You’ll work with K-5 students across the building, including providing support for two CI classrooms within the school. This is an opportunity to build meaningful connections with students, families, and staff in a role that makes a real difference every day.

Position Details:

• Dates: ASAP – June 10, 2026

• Grade Level: K–5

• Caseload: Entire building + 2 CI classrooms

• Office Space: Yes

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective social work services to support students.
• Support and service in classroom groups.
• Help with screening students.
• Provide strong and effective social work services and support.
• Deliver emotional support strategies to students.
• Establish strong and healthy relationships with both students and parents/guardians.
• Educate parents/guardians on intervention strategies.
• Connect students and families with community mental health organizations if necessary.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Must possess S310 form- Approval to work in MI schools
• Previous school social work experience is preferred.
