PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Harmon Electric is seeking a motivated Residential Solar Installer. As an Installer, you will be primarily responsible for installation of solar panels, racking, conduit, and wire for residential solar projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Layout, assembly, and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
• Pipe bending, wire pulling, running conduit
• Assist with electrical wiring of energy products.
• Prepare and clean up the job site.
• Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
• Ability to remember and follow instructions
• Demonstrated concern for safety and adherence to all company policies while promoting them to others
• Self-motivated, team player, positive attitude, problem-solving skills, proven attendance record, and mechanical aptitude

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have a complete and thorough knowledge of construction. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

• 1-3 years of Electrical Solar Installation experience
• 1-3 years of Solar Installation Auditing
• Ability to safely handle and maintain bare hand and power tools used for installation
• You must have your own basic set of hand and power tools
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders or stairs and working on commercial rooftops in hot, cold, and inclement weather
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Valid Driver's License

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. regularly and push, pull, bend, stand, or kneel for extended periods.
• May require repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
• May require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking throughout the workday
