Remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator Compensation

• The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator Highlights

• Fully Remote position – work from home anywhere in the U.S.
• Must have access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
• Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST for the first 4–6 weeks (virtual attendance mandatory)
• Regular Schedule: Must be able to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST
• This is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs

Remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator Responsibilities

• Create and complete accurate referrals and applications into a centralized CRM platform
• Resolve patients’ questions and concerns regarding their care journey status
• Enter detailed, accurate, and clear information into company software while conversing via telephone
• Place outbound phone calls for patient follow-ups and confirmations
• Provide empathetic and professional support while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Interact with healthcare providers and referral sources to process new applicants
• Manage patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial

Remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of customer-facing experience in healthcare, call center, or related setting preferred
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM and accurately transcribe notes while on calls
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using video conferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Independent worker with strong time management skills and ability to meet productivity metrics
• Must adhere strictly to company attendance policies
• Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance billing methods and general pharmacy operations a plus
• Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical support environment preferred
