Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Outpatient Practice

Specialized Therapy Associates is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. As a full-time or part-time salaried employee, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid/remote setting, providing comprehensive mental health services to our diverse patient population. Choose your own hours and work with a team of highly experienced and trained psychotherapists, and other specialists on staff. the staff is 40 employees and growing rapidly. Grow with us!

Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations
• Provide individual and medication management sessions.
• Utilize the psychological testing from our staff psychologist
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing clinical supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care

Required Skills

• Expertise in psychopharmacology and psychiatric nursing
• Experience in medication management and/or titration off medication
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and relapse prevention strategies
• Ability to conduct intake assessments and provide clinical supervision
• Strong background in treatment planning and working with a team

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience in chemical dependency treatment
• Familiarity with behavioral therapy approaches
• Conduct therapy sessions for individuals and families
