Production Supervisor | DuraMag | Waterville, ME

Regular Employee | Salary Exempt |


What you’ll do:


As the Production Supervisor for DuraMag (Aebi Schmidt Group Brands) based in Waterville, ME, you will enjoy managing and providing direction to team members with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement for the company’s various product lines.

1st Shift – Monday – Thursday – 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Friday OT as necessary

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach production staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Schedule shifts, manage staffing plans, and oversee training and hiring
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate KPIs and performance updates
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Monitor inventory, scrap, and reject processes for efficiency
  • Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, HR, and purchasing
  • Support 5S initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts

What you need to be successful:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five or more (5+) years of manufacturing experience and proven leadership skills
  • Personnel management experience
  • Expertise supervising/managing a team in a vehicle assembly line environment (Preferred)
  • A track record of planning and handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Robust communication and organizational skills

  • Associate or Technical degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (Preferred)
