The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Painters to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana, for our 2025 season. If your talents range from skilfully carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including painting interior and exterior areas, and assisting the maintenance team with the upkeep of property, this could be the next step for you. You will play an important role in guest satisfaction and experience during their stay at Yellowstone General Stores.

• Dorm-style housing is available for $50/ week, including free laundry

What will you do?

• Prepare surfaces to be painted; remove old paint, wash, and fill holes with putty
• Paint surfaces throughout the property using a range of brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Apply various finishes, primers, or sealers to interior and exterior surfaces
• Maintain the working area is safe and clean in line with company regulations and policies
• When needed, assist the maintenance team with tasks
• Drive company company-provided vehicle to and from painting locations
• Perform other duties assigned 

More about you

• Minimum 1 year of painting experience for a commercial facility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record 
• Must pass drug screening 
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Ability to stand, crouch, and climb a ladder
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling
