Job Description:
- 10+ years of physical DBA experience, including experience across Oracle, SQL Server, Exadata, Postgres, Microsoft Access database servers.
- Needs to know Oracle inside and out
- Working knowledge of how to investigate and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle/Exadata environments.
- Monitoring of database performance to include, but not limited to, memory usage, proper backups, active sessions, long-running queries, tablespace configuration, and space allocations.
- Coordinate with data architects and analysts on creating schemas, tables (including partitioning), functions, views, stored procedures, database access and roles.
- Coordination with the automation team for the scheduling of database.
- Write scripts to enable DBA specific processing and monitoring.
- Expereince in Jira, SQL server management, DBeaver, TOAD, or Oracle SQL Developer
