Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, SUN Solaris UNIX operating systems
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 18c, 19c
- Proficiency in applying PSU patches to various versions of Oracle databases
- Experience with upgrades of databases to 19c, including rolling upgrades
- Strong understanding of Oracle architecture
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience on multi-node RAC systems on ASM
- Experience with the upgrade and migration of large databases across data centers
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
- Experience with ASM instance creation and troubleshooting
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance
- Apply patches and perform upgrades to keep systems up-to-date
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related needs
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
