Location: Austin, TX Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, SUN Solaris UNIX operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 18c, 19c
• Proficiency in applying PSU patches to various versions of Oracle databases
• Experience with upgrades of databases to 19c, including rolling upgrades
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience on multi-node RAC systems on ASM
• Experience with the upgrade and migration of large databases across data centers
• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
• Experience with ASM instance creation and troubleshooting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance
• Apply patches and perform upgrades to keep systems up-to-date
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related needs
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
