This healthcare position will work fixed hours from 2:00 PM to midnight, following a schedule of four consecutive days beginning on either Sunday or Wednesday . Flexibility to work additional days, evenings, and weekends may be required based on the needs of the facility.

DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A NURSE - LPN
In the capacity of Nurse - LPN, your day will commence with a briefing from correctional staff to ensure you are well-informed about the patients under your care. You will collaborate closely with medical professionals to obtain necessary orders and deliver prescribed medications and treatments efficiently. Throughout your shift, you will be responsible for conducting vital sign checks, triaging officer intake screenings, and providing emergency first aid when required. Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient care will be essential, as will assisting with educating patients regarding facility policies and discharge planning. You will adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control procedures while also remaining proficient in pharmacology and therapeutic diets. Furthermore, this nursing role may encompass training new staff members and participating in educational sessions to enhance the overall quality of care within the facility.
