Job Description

*NEW BEDFORD, MA -* We are looking to onboard passionate and motivated Master's level Clinicians for our Adult/Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (A/YMCI) Program located at our Church Street office. *The MCIS Call Center Triage Clinician* will use their knowledge of and experience with utilizing community-based services and the wraparound process to provide clinical care and support to adults and their families and to prevent hospitalization and stabilize adults in the community.

* SATURDAY-SUNDAY 1ST SHIFT + $2.50/HOUR
* MONDAY-FRIDAY 2ND SHIFT + $1.50/HOUR
* SATURDAY & SUNDAY 2ND SHIFT + $4.00/HOUR
* SUNDAY-THURSDAY 3RD SHIFT + $5.00/HOUR
* FRIDAY & SATURDAY 3RD SHIFT +7.50/HOUR

*Qualifications*
* The person holding this position must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, psychology, or related field and must be professionally licensed or license eligible in the state of Massachusetts.
* This person must have experience with computers, specifically Electronic Health Records systems
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
* At least one year experience working with adults and their families in a clinical role
* Able to provide clinical care and support to adults and their families to prevent hospitalization and stabilize adults in the community
* Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

*Responsibilities*
_The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs._
* Collaborate with Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) team members in a fast-paced call center environment to provide timely, clinically appropriate responses
* Triage incoming calls for individuals in crisis, assess safety and risk, and determine the appropriate level of care
* Provide brief, solution-focused clinical interventions via phone to support stabilization in the least restrictive setting
* Conduct telephone screenings and gather relevant information using standardized screening tools
* Complete intake documentation and verify insurance coverage as appropriate
* Facilitate warm handoffs to internal and external programs, including Core Services, Open Access, and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) services
* Coordinate care with referral sources, providers, and community support to ensure comprehensive service delivery
* Conduct collateral contacts with support systems to inform clinical decision-making
* Assist callers with safety planning, de-escalation strategies, and linkage to appropriate treatment resources
* Conduct mental health evaluations assessing risk and safety, as needed
* Consult with clinical leadership and psychiatric staff as needed to determine appropriate disposition, including hospital diversion or inpatient referral
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
* Participate in supervision, staff meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities
