Full-time, 30 to 40 hours/week

Salary: $5/hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly organized medical virtual assistant to join our team. As a medical virtual assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to healthcare professionals in a remote setting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your familiarity with EMR systems to manage patient records efficiently and accurately.
• Update and maintain EMR systems with new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
• Explain our services to new patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how our systems work and what to expect.
• Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating follow-up care.
• Collaborate with medical billing teams to ensure accurate coding and billing information.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive medical information.
• Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
