Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist is a dual role. One part of the position is the Patient Step-Down Navigation, working with patients and their families on the inpatient unit to educate, answer questions and enroll the patients as they are interested to our Partial Hospitalization level of care.
The second part of the role includes, but not limited to, working with the Director of Business Development to implement the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned marketing duties, and achieving departmental and facility business development goals, which includes growth of programs. The Marketing Specialist must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment. This position does include some regional travel (mileage reimbursement available). Strong social media skills are a plus. Evenings/weekends will be required around community needs and events.
QualificationsJob Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred. A valid Driver’s License is required. Social Media experience is a plus. Flexibility in schedule to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Licensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of the greater Philadelphia behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and age-specific programming. Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection analysis and interpretation; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel as required.
