Entry-Level Commercial Loan Servicing Analyst

Chicago, IL – Hybrid

$54K/Year + training completion incentives

JOB SUMMARY

Calculated Hire is looking for entry-level loan servicing analysts who are interested in launching their career in Commercial Banking. This is a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in a high-demand skillset! You’ll gain hands-on experience in transaction processing, issue investigation, and process improvement while developing analytical and problem-solving skills. You’ll work closely with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You will be provided with additional technical training and professional mentorship to help you grow into a SME and diversify your banking knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & Process:

• Process transactions and perform basic audits with accuracy and timeliness.
• Investigate discrepancies and assist in resolving non-routine issues through analysis and collaboration.
• Support internal teams and customers by providing responsive, knowledgeable service.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and sharing insights.
• Participate in small projects and help test new tools or procedures.

Risk & Compliance:

• Follow company policies to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Escalate risks or unusual findings to senior team members.
• Assist with audit responses and regulatory reporting.

Performance & Service:

• Monitor work quality and share performance updates to help improve team outcomes.
• Deliver consistent, reliable support that builds trust with internal and external partners.
• Align your work with team goals and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Banking industry experience highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong investigation skills
• Strong prioritization skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge and understanding of lending products and services, processes and controls is a plus
• Experience or knowledge of lending systems and applications is a plus
• Experience with Adobe Editor is a plus
• Knowledge of Commercial Loans is a plus but not necessary
• Experience with Credit Agreements is a plus
