Job Overview

ProTek Electrical Lighting Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Lighting Maintenance Electrician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time role focuses on early-morning lighting service and maintenance across HOA communities and commercial properties. If you have strong troubleshooting skills, hands?on experience with lighting controls, and are comfortable working at heightsthis is the role for you.

The ideal candidate is safety?conscious, detail?oriented, and capable of starting work as early as 3:30?AM to ensure minimal disruption for our clients. Youll work independently and with a team to keep lighting systems fully operational, safe, and code?compliant.

Responsibilities

• Perform lighting maintenance, repairs, and installations across HOA and commercial sites
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems including time?clock and photocell?controlled lighting
• Operate boom trucks, scaffolding, and high?reach ladders safely and effectively
• Conduct routine inspections and respond to service calls in a timely manner
• Document service and repair records accurately
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
• Perform other duties as assigned to support field operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in lighting maintenance, especially for HOAs and commercial sites
• Strong understanding of lighting controls, photocell systems, and time?clock lighting setups
• Proficient in troubleshooting low?voltage and lighting circuit issues
• Experience using boom trucks and working at height (ladders, scaffolds, etc.)
• Willingness and availability to begin work at 3:30?AM
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
