Residential Journeyman Electrician (Levels 1–5)
Department: Field Operations
Reports To: Field Supervisor / Master Electrician

Journeyman Level 1 – Entry Journeyman
Position Purpose
Entry-level licensed journeyman transitioning from apprenticeship to independent work.
Summary
Handles routine residential installations and repairs while strengthening NEC knowledge and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Journeyman Level 2 – Skilled Journeyman
Position Purpose
Builds speed, accuracy, and problem-solving while taking on more complex work and minor project coordination.
Summary
Independently completes mid-level installations and begins leading small crews.

Journeyman Level 3 – Experienced Journeyman
Position Purpose
Focuses on advanced troubleshooting, efficient installations, and consistent field leadership.
Summary
Oversees moderate projects and mentors lower-level journeymen and apprentices.

Journeyman Level 4 – Senior Journeyman
Position Purpose
Takes on major leadership, project coordination, and high-level installations.
Summary
Oversees complex work, coordinates with supervisors/contractors, and enforces compliance.

Journeyman Level 5 – Lead Journeyman
Position Purpose
Highest journeyman tier—mastery of residential electrical systems with full leadership and project management responsibilities.
Summary
Leads multiple projects, manages field teams, and works directly with company leadership.
