Legacy Building Solutions is seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data architecture, hands-on proficiency in Power BI, and experience with network infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in overseeing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of systems, and driving data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust data architectures that support our business needs. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all systems through hands-on management.
• Power BI: Utilize Power BI to develop and deliver insightful business intelligence reports and dashboards. Enable data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights to stakeholders through hands-on development and analysis.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, including hands-on negotiation of contracts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and overseeing vendor performance. This includes our outsourced support vendor.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including system administration, network management, and technical support with hands-on involvement.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the reliability and security of IT systems through hands-on leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs and requirements with hands-on solutions.
• Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget through hands-on project management.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our IT infrastructure remains current and competitive through hands-on research and application.
• Provide hands-on leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to IT staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure, Medallion Architecture as well as cloud ERP systems.
• Experience in IT management, with a focus on data architecture and business intelligence.
• Hands-on proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to create complex reports and dashboards.
• Exposure to vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Strong understanding of network and system administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management with hands-on expertise.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and hands-on analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP).
• Familiarity with other business intelligence tools and technologies.
• Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.

Working Conditions

The IT Manager will work in a typical office environment, with occasional travel required for vendor meetings and industry conferences. This role may require occasional after-hours work to address critical IT issues or to implement system upgrades. Location of this position will be flexible based on work/project requirements.
