PALFINGER USA, LLC is currently seeking Production Painter candidates for the following area: Tiffin, Ohio. The successful candidate will join our assembly team painting various PALFNGER crane and truck packages. We are interested in candidates with farm equipment paint experience, automotive paint experience, or hydraulic equipment paint experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Required to wear a paint suit and air-supplied hood or respirator.
\n
• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints and/or customer specifications.
\n
• Scuff, prep, and apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
\n
• Conduct a finish quality check, sand and touch-up as needed.
\n
• Basic Mechanical skills - This includes the ability to use repair tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
\n
• Be able to think independently and perform with a minimum level of supervision.
\n
• Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.
\n

Your Qualifications

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
\n
• 3 years of paint experience with strong proficiency in the painting of various truck / automotive equipment and/or industrial painting is preferred.
\n
• Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions.
\n
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50lbs+ for extended periods of time.
\n
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures.
\n
• Able to communicate with employees and customers.
\n
• Supply own tools.
\n
