Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Individual Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in individual tax preparation, a working knowledge of QuickBooks, and a commitment to client service and confidentiality. This is a full-time, in-person position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual tax returns accurately and efficiently

• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax questions and documentation

• Assist with bookkeeping and payroll as needed

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm’s professional standards

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, standard business hours

• Extended hours during tax season

Requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of individual tax preparation experience preferred

• QuickBooks experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $20/hr, depending on experience, advancement available

• 40+ hours per week, with overtime pay provided
