Responsibilities:
- Shift will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Stay Over time when requested.
- General document control activities.
- Prepare metrics reports and charts for the Metrics Board, etc.
- Contact Suppliers and get a Quote as needed
- Perform Safety Audits and follow up
- ISO 14000 Support including internal audits
- Wastewater Documents Control
- Coordinate Waste Area and Waste Disposal
- Coordinate City of McAllen Requirements
Including Semiannual Report and Wastewater Permit
- Make sure wastewater PM activities are according to schedule
- Assigning activities to wastewater operator
- Monitoring the Wastewater parameters.
- Work with wastewater operator to Maintain chemical pumps and mixers working properly.
- Monitor de the registration of water parameters in required forms.
- Keep the right level of wastewater chemicals
- Monitoring boiler process.
- Quote spare parts and external services as need it
- Report any equipment failure.
- Maintains accountability for meeting safety & quality departmental goals.
- Keep area expenses within budget.
- Ability to identify and implement innovative ways to reduce department costs, improve efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the department.
- Participate in cross-functional teams as a maintenance representative. Participate in, promote, and actively use a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization and within area of responsibility.
- Follow safety initiatives and 5Ss practices in the area.
- Give support on activities related to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
Authority: take immediate action if any safety condition or environmental is not met, escalation process must be followed up if any product ordered as a potential risk to affect the operation.
Competences Required: (Education, experience, special skills, certification)
