The Generator Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, installing, and supporting sales of Generac industrial products on-site and via phone. This role requires up to 50% travel; a fleet vehicle will be provided. Review the qualifications below; a recruiter will contact you to discuss your fit and interests: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Mechanical design, AC/DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams knowledge Understanding of electrical distribution system components and operation Excellent troubleshooting skills, independent decision-making, and minimal supervision ability Experience in Electronics and Electromechanical Technology Knowledge of power generation, light towers, pumps, and heating products Spark Ignited knowledge Technical Field Service Representative Trainee: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 1-3 years of related mechanical experience and completion of Electrical/Electronic or HVAC program Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 1-3 years of related industrial experience Compensation Range: $25.05 – $35.07/Hour Technical Field Service Representative Level I: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 2-3 years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS) Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 4 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS Compensation Range: $29.88 – $44.82/Hour Technical Field Service Representative Level II: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 4 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 6 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS Compensation Range: $34.53 – $51.80/Hour Technical Field Service Representative Level III: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma 6 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 8 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS Compensation Range: $39.90 – $59.85/Hour Master Field Service Technician: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, Generac Master Certification or equivalent 8 years in advanced troubleshooting EPSS Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 10-15 years in advanced troubleshooting EPSS Compensation Range: $46.32 – $69.48/Hour Energy Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending, health savings accounts, paid time off, holidays, overtime, and 401(k).
