Position: FP&A Analyst
Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid)
Salary: 90k – 115k + Bonus
Prestigious Investment Banking firm seeks an FP&A Analyst to join their Team
Responsibilities
- Build and refine financial models for budgeting, forecasting and planning initiatives with a focus on internal equity modeling and profit & loss statement modeling
- Support C-Suite strategic decision-making through reporting and analysis, with a focus on company-wide financial planning
- Prepare executive reporting materials and presentations to summarize results and narrate key themes and takeaways for the Partnership and Board of Directors
- Execute key deliverables including quarterly business reviews, annual budgeting and reporting, non-comp expense analysis and peer/industry analysis
- Own and enhance the firm’s pipeline reporting processes by liaising with bankers and deal teams on a regular basis
- Drive modernization of reporting and analytics through innovative technology platforms (DealCloud, PowerBI, AI initiatives)
- Support various corporate initiatives through business partnering, while developing and maintaining relationships across the organization
- Perform other ad-hoc and recurring analyses supporting the CFO and office of the COO
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
- Approximately 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in reading and analyzing complex financial statements
- High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with PowerBI, DealCloud and/or Sage Intacct is preferred
