As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to situations with professionalism and composure while operating a vehicle as needed. You will also interact with visitors, staff, and customers, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed04:15 PM - 11:30 PMSun09:00 AM - 04:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following established protocols for an armed patrol post in a retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed Security experience. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
