EHS Manager

Location : Buffalo, NY

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Pay Range : $80,000 - $110,000 plus bonus

Work Type : Full-time

Work Model : Onsite

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Positional Overview

The Imagine Group is recruiting for a EHS Manager on behalf of our client, a leading global dairy manufacturer, this organization produces a wide range of trusted cheese, yogurt, and dairy products, serving customers across the United States and around the world, in Buffalo, NY . Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, it partners with well-recognized brands and delivers products found in millions of households.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and reduce workplace risks. You will oversee audits, training, and incident investigations while partnering with leadership to support safe, sustainable operations.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, identifying hazards and driving corrective actions
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
  • Deliver EHS training and coaching to employees and leadership to promote a proactive safety culture
  • Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics, recommending continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support sustainability, environmental compliance, and operational safety initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Chemistry, Biology, and Physics as it relates to EHS and Property Loss Prevention.
  • Coordinating, facilitating, managing, and training of others
  • Process safety management experience is favorable.
  • Ammonia system experience is highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or Industrial Hygiene or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience related to Industrial EHS and Property Loss.
