About the Role

KNS International is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative vision and expression of our multi-brand portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on creative leader who can move seamlessly between concept and execution — someone who can think big, bring bold ideas to life, and roll up their sleeves to design, direct, and deliver.

This leader will own the development of high-impact creative campaigns that connect emotionally with consumers, elevate brand distinction, and drive measurable business results. They will guide a talented in-house team while managing external freelancers, photographers, and production partners. The ideal candidate is fluent in both the art and science of brand storytelling — building creative that not only looks beautiful but also performs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision across all KNS brands, ensuring distinct yet cohesive brand voices, visual identities, and storytelling frameworks.
• Develop high-level creative strategies that support company and brand goals across all channels — DTC, drop ship, wholesale, and marketplace.
• Ideate and execute integrated brand campaigns without reliance on external agencies — from concept development to final creative assets.
• Lead and inspire the in-house creative team , fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Manage external creative resources , including photographers, stylists, and freelancers, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with broader marketing team, eCommerce, and merchandising teams to ensure creative excellence supports growth and performance objectives.

• Translate brand strategy into impactful creative assets across web, social, email, retail, and digital advertising.
• Direct photoshoots and content production , ensuring consistent brand tone, style, and storytelling.
• Monitor creative performance and audience response , using insights and analytics to continuously refine creative direction.
• Champion brand consistency while allowing each brand its unique aesthetic, personality, and voice.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or art direction, ideally within fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brands.
• Proven ability to lead multi-brand creative strategies from concept to execution.
• Strong hands-on design skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Deep understanding of digital-first creative, social content, and performance-driven storytelling.
• Demonstrated experience managing photo shoots, creative teams, and external creative partners.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and how creative drives conversion.
• A visionary thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for building brands that matter.
