Color Handler – Apollo Line, $17.25/hr – Enoree, SC

Qualifications:
Expertise in color theory, dyes, pigments, and their chemical properties
Strong attention to detail with ability to spot subtle color variations
Technical ability with color-matching software and measurement tools
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shift
Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain written documentation accurately
Dependable, hard-working, and professional with reliable attendance
Effective communication skills to work with production teams and supervisors
Skills:
Prepare and boil thickenings used for mixing colors
Communicate with production teams to ensure correct dye batches are available
Create and maintain color sequence charts for machine operators
Inspect finished products for color accuracy, pattern, and quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve color-related issues during production
Set up production lines and complete change-over activities for new jobs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of production floor and traffic areas
Assist with logistics of raw materials, finished goods, and scrap materials
Support preventive maintenance tasks and daily production schedules
Keep pace with production flow while ensuring safety and quality compliance
As a Color Handler, not only will you be preparing and managing dyes and thickenings, but you’ll also ensure production lines run efficiently, support operators with accurate color sequencing, and uphold customer specifications. This job, depending on your work ethic, could be a short-term or long-term fit.
