Responsibilities

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas has an opportunity for a part-time Nurse Practitioner of Cardiology to join our team in Conway. This is a great opportunity to join a cohesive, family-oriented team. Our clinic offers great work hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm) and the flexibility of a part-time schedule.

The Opportunity:

• Practice consists of 4 physicians and 4 APPs
• Provides direct, comprehensive, preventative, and therapeutic healthcare to patients and families including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, counseling, and instruction.
• Adheres to Nurse Practitioner Protocols and all regulations governing RNPs.
• Provides healthcare for which they are educationally prepared and competent.
• Promotes nursing knowledge and evidence-based practice within the designated Service Line.
• Functions as a clinical resource to direct-care nurses.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
• Leads and facilitates programs and teams to improve the process of care delivery to the identified patient population.

Qualifications

• Current RNP and/or APN licensure in Arkansas. Documentation compliant with the State Nursing Board of satisfactory completion of a nurse practitioner educational program and completion of preceptorship.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration.
• Experience in APN/RNP patient care preferred.
• Preferred experience in Cardiology

$45.39 - $62.42 /hour
