Job Description

We are a locally owned and operated franchisee with Bojangles Restaurants. We are hiring Shift Leaders at Bojangles located at 7819 Timberlake Road & 3280 Old Forest Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501 .

Shift Leaders support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great work shifts and meeting Bojangles standards. Shift Leaders take ownership and responsibility to solve problems, seek help when needed and are willing to help and guide others. Key responsibilities include making sure Team Members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner. You’ll also ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for Team Members to work and customers to visit.

Shift Leader behaviors include:

• Maintain the company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.

• Providing feedback to Team Members in a positive manner.

• Communicating openly and honestly with the Restaurant Management team.

• Following cash, security, inventory and labor policies and procedures.

Job Requirements and Essential Functions 

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must pass background check

• Valid Drivers’ License

• Must have reliable private transportation

• At least 1 year of Food service experience.

• Able to do basic business math

• Able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends

Bojangles of Lynchburg is a locally owned and operated franchisee of Bojangles Restaurants. We began in Lynchburg in 2008 with our first restaurant on Timberlake Road. We have expanded and also operate the location on Old Forest Road. We are super excited to announce our newest location coming this year in 2021 to Wards Road just south of Chili’s and across from Sheetz and Wendy’s. Bojangles is proud to bring you fresh, never frozen, hand breaded chicken with a kick of real deal southern flavor. No one does breakfast biscuits like we do which is why we do breakfast all day. Our biscuits are home made from scratch every 20 minutes.
