We are looking for local qualified and experienced individuals for our employee benefit counselor team near Tampa and surrounding areas across central Florida and beyond.

A benefits counselor is responsible for guiding employees through the complexities of benefits enrollment. They discuss individual needs, clarify the various options available, assist in making informed decisions, and ensure that the enrollment process is able to be efficiently and effectively completed.
A Benefits Enroller should know each product inside-out and be able to explain details clearly. Explanations need to be free from overly technical language and must make the employee feel comfortable with the choices made.

- Knowing/understanding all the details of the benefits plans
-Understanding individual employees’ needs
-Presenting appropriate solutions
-completing applications and collecting documentation from employees
-using consultative sales approach without pressuring
-Reporting results to management
-Maintaining employee benefits records until project is complete
-Attending training courses to learn about products, platforms & services before a project

Benefits enrollers typically need to travel to client offices or events, so you need to have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
