Job Summary
The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, demonstrating new and used vehicles, and guiding buyers through the entire sales process. This role requires an enthusiastic and professional individual with excellent communication skills, a deep knowledge of our product lineup, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be motivated to meet or exceed sales targets, with the opportunity to earn a strong income through a guaranteed base salary plus commission and performance-based bonuses.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Guaranteed Base Salary of $36,000.00 with the opportunity to earn bonuses

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and prompt manner, both on the sales floor and through online inquiries.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences to help them select a vehicle that is the best fit for their lifestyle and budget.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all dealership products and services, including vehicle features, accessories, and warranties.
  • Conduct high-quality and informative vehicle demonstrations and test drives for prospective buyers.
  • Effectively negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Use the dealership's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to log customer interactions and follow up with leads and past customers.
  • Complete all necessary sales documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales management and finance department to finalize sales and financing agreements.
  • Attend all required sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development courses.
  • Contribute to the dealership's monthly sales goals and overall success.
