The Sport Management program within the School of Sport Science is seeking adjunct faculty for the following courses for the Fall 2025 semester (August 26th – December 12th). These are in-person classes and take place on campus in Beverly. SM 379 – Semester Internship Strategies (Fridays 11-11:50am and 12-12:50pm): This course consists of a series of eight sessions to help juniors prepare to search for and undertake the full-semester internship. The topics covered include planning strategically for the semester internship, focusing on the internship search, assessing the resume and applying for the internship, interviewing for the internship, participating in mock interviews, and making the most of the internship. Students are required to complete the course before undertaking semester internship. SM 480- Semester Internship (Fridays 10-11:25): A full-semester field experience, this course requires that students apply academic theories to the professional work environment. The course is planned with and supervised by faculty and site supervisors. A weekly, on-campus seminar enables students to reflect on their internship experiences, discuss reading and writing assignments that integrate theory and practice, and refine their job search skills. At the conclusion of the course, students deliver oral presentations that clearly articulate their internship experiences, professional strengths, and future career directions. Faculty hired to teach these courses will be required to: Fulfill the learning outcomes according to the existing syllabus, with flexibility in content and delivery as appropriate. Abide by Endicott’s academic policies. Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system. Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades. Communicate with the Faculty Department Lead for Sport Management if and when issues arise concerning the teaching of the courses. Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter. Use their Endicott email address when communicating with students. Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. Ph.D. preferred. College level teaching experience is strongly preferred. Endicott celebrates diversity and strives to bring a mix of talented people—representing a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills—together to do their best work.
